Cheryl was born in Amarillo, Texas and has lived in the plains of West Texas her entire life. After graduating from West Texas State University with a degree in English Literature, she began working in the banking industry. After she and her husband, Steve built their first home, she found an interest in real estate. Once receiving her real estate license in 1997, she simultaneously began working as an Escrow Officer for Chicago Title.
In 2005 she was recruited by the Canyon Chamber of Commerce and became its CEO for nearly a decade. Her passion for “all things” marketing developed during these years. She has since worked on publications, editorials, television commercials, and feature writings, all highlighting the “Bests” of the Panhandle region. Cheryl’s love for marketing-event coordinating has given her vast opportunities to build statewide events and festivals in the Top of Texas Region.
When able to relax, Cheryl prefers to spend time with her husband and two sons. Road trips and visiting the mountains are her beloved hobbies. She is also a professional home stager and interior decorator and absolutely loves entertaining and cooking for family and friends.
